My brother Dave gets the biggest picture on the site. While in Italy with my brother he looked over at a statue in a piazza and said to me 'I don't think I would want to be immortalized as a bronze statue because you would have pidgeon poop all over you for centuries'. Good reason for a painting!
Game Day

This is one of my first paintings. It actually came in third at an art show. The comments on the juriors card were, very interesting, busy but I don't think he knows how to draw too well. I think I am a little better now.

My mother used to always get snacks ready when my Dad brought a friend home. My Dad worked on the railroad not on a beer truck. The name Tudor Arms is the name of a pub my friend James Pollack once owned in Whitby, Ontario.
Looks of Concern

This was my first published painting which actually won a contest for artists with less than 3 years under their belt. These old fellows were coming out of a Legion and saw a scantly clad woman walking by. I was at the stop light in my car when I noticed this. Some liked it, some didn't and some were a little confused.
I Am Not A Landscape Painter

I was asked once why I didn't paint landscapes because people like these more to put in their living rooms. I could sell more. Poor excuse for making a painting. I don't do landscapes!
The Last Pee,(memories of the Winnipeg Arena)

This is perhaps my most popular painting as far as print sales go. While in line to pee at the MTS Centre, during a Jets game, guys were complaining that now there was a line up. At the old arena the trough handled a great volume of pee. No wait!

When the Winnipeg Blue Bombers saw The Last Pee they commisioned me to paint this piece. On the walls are past and present logos. In this painting and The Last Pee painting many of my friends are depicted here playing with themselves. Sorry boys!
Bocce (The toss)

The ball has just been tossed at the bocce court (or is that pitch) and our spectators react to it. Again as in the other bocce painting it was inspired by the Mona Lisa Bocce League!
Bowling Adoration

Academy Lanes is a different looking building close to my house. Here bowlers are shown being treated as rock stars as they enter the front doors. Does this ever happen to bowlers? Maybe somewhere, where bowlers, dart throwers, lawn bowlers and curlers are admired. Notice I did not put poker players in this sentence. PLEASE take poker off the sports channel!!!!
The Wawa

While in a small town outside Havana I noticed many old Cuban buses, which probably needed engine jobs and new paint jobs, 10 years ago (my bus is nicer than that, paint-wise). Their Cuban nickname was 'Wawa'.
